On behalf of the Federal Land of Styria, the TK – Territorial Cooperation area supports the interlinking of Styrian and European economic interests, institutions and companies by funding (co-financing), development and handling of EU projects.
Beside the European Territorial Cooperation (formerly Interreg), working areas are the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technology and all economically relevant EU programmes and EU initiatives.
It focuses on coordinated project developments, preparation and execution work or joint activities, respectively, in the new structural fund period 2007 – 2013 as well as the establishment and expansion of a functional network for further activities, which is supplemented by complementary project partners from European regions..
