Regional internationalisation Styria

The identification of chances and project opportunities in South-Eastern Europe and the minimisation of the entrepreneurial risk are the core competences of the RIST programme.
RIST is a programme of the Federal Land of Styria, which supports Styrian entrepreneurs with the selective market entrance into new target regions. The ICS is responsible for the operative handling, and furthermore is the first contact point for issues of market exploration and market analysis.

Within the scope of the RIST programme, entrepreneurs are informed about international project opportunities free of cost,

they can count on the competent support of RIST project managers in Styria
-
and key account managers in the RIST regions,

and they receive support from the RIST financing consultant.

The RIST participants are provided with an own information database under www4.wkstmk.at/rist-db, in which projects are listed after in-depth “screening” by the RIST project manager.
RIST regions are characterised by highly dynamic economic growth and offer the Styrian economy excellent opportunities for growth. These regions include Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, Montenegro and Romania as well as Hungary. Furthermore, Styrian entrepreneurs have the opportunity to make use of the infrastructure of the Business Centres in Zagreb, Novi Sad, and of late also St. Petersburg.
For already more than 300 Styrian RIST participants, currently around 325 projects are available in the RIST regions, of which more than half are managed successfully. The order volume of all projects in progress amounts to approx. 1 billion Euros!
